MO’S REAL TIPS ↓
THE BIT MO GETS RIGHT

Real tips. Every one checked.

  1. Your bank will NEVER ask you to move money to a 'safe account'. Hang up and call 159.
  2. Delivery firms don't text asking for small fees. Don't tap the link. Forward scam texts to 7726.
  3. 'Hi Mum, hi Dad, new number' texts are a common scam. Call them on their OLD number first.
  4. No real company or government asks to be paid in gift cards or crypto. That's always a scam.
  5. Never read out a code that was texted to you. Real banks and companies never ask for it.
  6. Got a call you're unsure about? Hang up, wait five minutes, and call back on a number you trust.
  7. Fake 'celebrity' investment ads are scams. Real celebrities aren't selling you crypto.
  8. HMRC won't threaten arrest by phone or text. Report fake HMRC messages to phishing@hmrc.gov.uk.
  9. A 'Microsoft' or 'BT' call saying your computer has a virus is a scam. Just hang up.
  10. If a deal or a prize looks too good to be true, it is. Don't pay a fee to collect a prize.
  11. Romance scammers never meet and always need money. Never send money to someone you haven't met.
  12. Scammers rush you. Any message that says 'urgent' or 'act now' deserves a pause and a check.
KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE

Send Mo to the family group.

Scammers go after everyone, and the best defence is a tip you heard and remembered. A laugh gets passed on; a warning gets ignored. That’s why Mo exists.
